Since 2017, Maxrit and Lildea have developed a shared artistic practice that merges painting, music and lived experience into a unified creative language. ROSY LOVE represents the most comprehensive expression of this collaboration—an interdisciplinary work cycle in which painting and music unfold as complementary parts of a single artistic vision.

The cycle originates from the Pop-Rock song ROSY, jointly written by Maxrit and Lildea and recorded with Lildea as its lead vocalist. From this shared musical foundation, ROSY LOVE expands into a visual exploration of memory, vulnerability, forgiveness and the transformative power of love. Rather than illustrating the music, the paintings continue its emotional and philosophical inquiry, inviting viewers to reconsider how memory shapes identity and how the past can be transformed through a change in meaning.

At its core, ROSY LOVE proposes that forgiveness is not an act of forgetting, but of conscious reinterpretation. Memory is approached as a living structure that continually influences the present. Through works such as Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, The Harvest of Memories, Grinding the Past, Under Water and Roots of Love, the cycle traces an emotional journey in which loss, resilience and renewal become universal reflections on the human condition.

The monumental triptych Rosy Love forms the conceptual center of the cycle, while the rose itself remains its defining material and symbolic element. Every canvas incorporates genuine rose components—including buds, blossoms, petals, stems and leaves—embedded directly into the surface. More than a recurring motif, the rose becomes a physical presence embodying beauty and impermanence, vulnerability and resilience, remembrance and renewal.

The collaborative process reflects the dialogue at the heart of the project. Each work begins with digitally composed imagery by Lildea, which is transferred to canvas before Maxrit transforms the surface through painterly intervention, pigments, physical deformations and sculptural layers of marble powder. The resulting works transcend individual authorship, evolving instead into a shared visual language.

Rather than presenting love as a romantic ideal, ROSY LOVE explores it as a creative force capable of transforming memory, reshaping perception and opening new possibilities for the future. Conceived as a cohesive exhibition cycle, it invites audiences to reflect on time, remembrance and human transformation through an experience that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
